About the Program
Future Proofing Education:
Aligning Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
The SalesianaBooks Educators’ Conference is a one-day program designed to address the challenges and issues educators currently face, while also introducing them ways on how to address them. The program theme for the conference this year, “Future Proofing Education: Aligning Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment”, emphasizes the need to strengthen the very core of educational practice.
It highlights the vital relationship between what is taught (curriculum), how it is taught (instruction), and how learning is measured (assessment). Too often treated in isolation, these three pillars must work in coherence to ensure meaningful student learning.
Curriculum
What is taught—ensuring content is relevant, coherent, and comprehensive.
Instruction
How it is taught—adopting effective teaching strategies that engage learners.
Assessment
How learning is measured—providing feedback to improve student outcomes.
